Eligibility

You must be [PLACEHOLDER: minimum age — e.g. 18] or older to place an order on jimmy.mu. If you are under that age, a parent or guardian must be involved in the purchase. By placing an order you confirm that you meet this requirement.

Orders and Payment

When you place an order on jimmy.mu you are making an offer to buy. We will confirm receipt of your order by email or WhatsApp, but a binding contract is only formed once we accept your order and confirm dispatch or pickup readiness.

We accept payment by Juice transfer, cash on delivery, or bank transfer. All prices are shown in Mauritian Rupees (MUR) and include VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to cancel an order if a price was published in error or if payment cannot be verified.

Pricing

Prices on jimmy.mu are shown in Mauritian Rupees (MUR) and are correct at the time of display. We reserve the right to update prices at any time without notice. The price that applies to your order is the price shown when you complete checkout.

Delivery fees are shown separately at checkout. Orders above MUR 4,000 qualify for free delivery; a flat MUR 300 delivery fee applies to orders below that threshold.

Delivery

We deliver across Mauritius on business days (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays). Standard delivery takes 1–3 business days from order confirmation. A flat fee of MUR 300 applies to orders under MUR 4,000; orders above MUR 4,000 are delivered free.

Free in-store pickup is available at our Floréal showroom (Mon–Fri 09:00–17:00, Sat 10:30–14:00). The exact delivery date is confirmed by the Jimmy team by phone or WhatsApp once your order is processed. For full details, see our Delivery page.

Returns and Refunds

You may return most items within 14 days of delivery, provided they are unused, in their original condition, and in their original packaging with all accessories and documentation included.

Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days via the original payment method. Delivery fees are not refunded unless the return is due to a fault on our end.

Items that have been used, damaged through misuse, or returned without original packaging cannot be accepted. For full details, see our Returns page.

Warranty

All JIMMY products sold on jimmy.mu include a local warranty serviced by our in-house technicians in Floréal: 2 years on the motor, 2 years on labour, and 1 year on electrical parts. All periods start from the date of invoice.

Our warranty covers manufacturing defects only. Normal wear-and-tear items (filters, rollers, batteries after 12 months), accidental damage, and water damage are excluded. To make a warranty claim, visit our After-Sales page or contact us directly.

Intellectual Property

All content on jimmy.mu — including text, images, logos, product descriptions, and design — is the property of JIMMY (MAURITIUS) LTD or its licensors. You may not reproduce, copy, or redistribute any content from this site without our written permission.

The JIMMY brand and trademarks are the property of their respective owners. Use of any JIMMY trademark without authorisation is prohibited.

Privacy and Cookies

We collect and process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. By using jimmy.mu you consent to our use of cookies as described in our Cookie Policy. You can manage your cookie preferences at any time via the Cookie Settings link in the footer.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, JIMMY (MAURITIUS) LTD is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of jimmy.mu or any product purchased from us.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Our total liability for any claim arising from a purchase is limited to the price you paid for the relevant product.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Mauritius. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mauritius [PLACEHOLDER: confirm the specific court — e.g. Supreme Court of Mauritius].

Changes to These Terms
